mount and dust cover,
this was for my saiga .223 there was some fileing that i had to do to the front of dust cover but not much just had to take time also spring lock hole had to be filed to get cover to seat in back. a little more gunsmithing that i expected but not enough for it not to be recommended.

|Decent quality but requires plenty of grinding to fit AMD-65,
The instructions that come with the mount say that you may need to grind down the front of the cover a little so that it fits. I had to grind a bit off of that, and so much more. They weld two flat squares of metal inside the rear of the receiver cover in order to have a bit more thickness for the screw holes (which I commend them for doing). The edges of these squares hit parts of the receiver that stick up, which makes it not seat far enough down to get the button to pop through the hole. I also had to expand that hole a little to finally get the cover to seat properly. Actually, I may not have even needed to do the inside grinding; maybe expanding the hole would have been enough.
Anyway, I did get it to work. It’s not too pretty, but with the set screws it does sit still. I imagine I’m going to zero it again every time after I clean it. Whatever, it was cheap. But if you have an AMD and don’t have a Dremel tool, you’re going to be pretty frustrated.

|Decent cover,
I put this on my ak47, i actually took the stabilizing screws off and bent the rear of the cover to make it stabilized. The metal is thick enough that it will hold zero. I shot 350 rounds through my wasr10 with a red dot scope (used locktight on screws)
I know have it on my wasr2, so yes it fits ak74′s also.
